Hi Guys.
I know this has been asked million of times, but can some1 give me the link for using external HDD on RGH console. I didn't glitch it myself I gave it to a service and they made that. I have xexmenu1.1, but I'm not really familiar with connecting HDD. I know I have to format it to FAT32, but how to do that on drives bigger than 32gb. All in all, I need step to step tutorial to setup it.

Can I make partitions, because I don't want to use it for storing games on it. I would just want to transfer them on internal and play them from it if that's possible.

Why don't you use FTP for that?

Although USB may be quicker, FTP is more convenient in my opinion.

I tried but it's very slow, average transfer rate is 500kbps so it would last about few hours

In which case, you could use your external drive to transfer stuff to the internal HDD.

However, you would need to use a file manager for this - FSD has one built-in .

So I should first install FSD and then plug in HDD and transfer files, right?

You can run the FSD2.2 installer from a disc, have it put FSD on your internal hard drive and from there, you can boot into FSD and transfer stuff from your external drive over to the internal.

Can I put installer on USB Stick, It's faster than burning.

Yes, there is a LIVE installer which can be launched from the NXE/Metro dashboard but you would still need access to the internal HDD in order to transfer if to the relevant directory (Content/0000000000000000).

So to conclude everything; I need to install FSD and after that I'll be able to do transferring without problems. Should I use newest version of FSD?

That is correct, the FSD2.2 installer includes the current version of FSD .
