External Switch Light Always Red & Blue

Hi,

I just installed my X3 on a 1.0 XBox. Blue lights on the mod chip board come on correctly, but the external switch red & blue lights are on all the time, and they won't go off or behave normally (i.e. either red or blue, not both at the same time!).

The Cromwell BIOS is preloaded on the X3, but no amount of button pressing seems to work.

Is my X3 broken - do I need to send it back for replacement?

Do You Get The Flash Bios Screen Up? If So Try Loading The X3 Bios To It To See If It Works

Nope - no flash screen, no matter what combination of eject/power button I try.

It always boots to the XBOX green flubber screen (and always asks me to enter the time and date).

Yes. it was a broken Mod Chip

Replaced the mod-chip with another one, and all worked fine. Doh!
