if you boot to the regular dash are you able to play them

if you are using the same profile (XBL profile) you shouldn't have any issue

Theres lot of different programes out there that are free but would probabley need the use of FTP, hooking your xbox up to your modem/router, pressing the right anologue stick down and the getting the ip address of your xbox, from there you would probably be able to extract the XBLA game and the put it into a folder of your choice, just try typing a question into google and im sure theres more info and answers out there

If I boot into the reg. dash and try to play the games, I get an error saying they can't be started.

I purchased these games on my now RROD box and I moved the hdd to the jtag. I did read something about having to transfer the license, then redownload the content.

Being how it's a jtag, I don't think I want to connect to XBL to try a download.

hmm yeh you wouldn't want to do that

the games should still work with the profile they were downloaded with

which version of dashlaunch have you got installed

for some reason you have to set contpatch to false with 2.29 where with previous versions you set it to true
this affects xbla games

I'm thinking the changing of the boxes (different serial numbers, nand, etc, etc) is the reason the games won't start up.

I'm thinking if I can transfer the game to the usb drive, I should be able to unlock it or something..Guess I'll find out right..
