External USB Drive

Hello,i have a 500gb external usb drive on my RGH console and the drive is getting pretty old now so i upgraded to a 2TB Hitachi external usb drive.
I copied my games over into a Games folder at the root like the existing drive has but for some reason i cannot see the drive in FSD.It is formatted in FAT32 and is a Primary drive.
When i put my old usb drive back in it see's it right away. I have googled drive sizes and see others using 2TB drives.
Any ideas guys ??

Hi,if i did that i would have ended up with one 16gb partition.

@BL4K3Y,Yes it has its own power supply just like my old one,a PC can see the files no problem.
Im thinking the drive is just not compatible,i even looked for it with xexmenu too and it found nothing but picked up my old drive right away.

Im really stuck here

Have you tried formatting it with the console?

If this works then you can try using a tool such as FAT32Formatter to re-format the whole drive again in Windows.

If i try to format with the console it see's the usb device and i select Configure Now and i get error' Can't Perform Action There was a problem performing that action'
