Hey I just got an xbox off craigslist and it ended up being banned. Anyways long story short I have 2 red ringed xbox's that I couldn't revive and was wondering if I can extract the CPU key from a RROD box using this guide.

Is it even worth going through the process or will it get banned again?
I was thinking if I replace the Nand then desolder everything it would be like I just switched xbox's??
