Extracting security sectors

Where does ot save the security sector when i use the GETSS. i have a hitachi,i run the getss and it says something then it does nothing.

Help please

Or if it is working where does it save it?

I believe it extracts it to the X-LG folder. I never use getss to extract the security sector, I use Xbox Backup Creator.

Get your drive in ModeB, then open up Xbox Backup Creator. Make sure the Hitachi drive is selected at the top of the program, then go to the Drive Tools tab and click on the Extract Security Sector button. It will ask you where you want to save it.

ok thankyou i thougt XBC only worked with kreon drives and the samsungs

ok i make the raw dump with wxripper. Can i get the Security sector from the iso or does it have to be from the disc.

Has to be from the disc.

Aww oh well. Can i get the PFI and the DMI from the raw dump though.
(i got the security sector already from a source)
