ok i downloaded the xtrem52a.bin but when i use xtreme bootmaker to open the file i cant find it. its invisible. when i open the file from my documents i can see it but when i try to open it from the xtreme bootmaker its not there

You really are a step ahead of microsofts security system you have found a cloaking device for the firmwares

it's normally a *.rar file from x-bins so you would need to extract this
