Was the console working before you started: Y
Do you get a green debug light appear on the CR4 XL chip every 4-5 seconds: N
How long is the light on for each time: The pulse for the debug light is so quick that the LED doesn't light up fully.

To keep it short, I am trying to do a RJTAG+ install on a falcon console and the debug light is blinking extremely fast. I'm lost, any ideas?

Btw: In the J2D2 pic, points 1 and 3 are NOT bridging, it just looks weird from the camera angle I shot it at.

What are your dip switch settings? And just as a tip, always clean up the excess flux before testing. I'm convinced that to much flux can cause issues. I think it's slightly capacitive. Something learned is to not use more than necessary. Less to clean up. ;)

Edit: let's count how many prove tell you to trim your wires as if that is the problem lol.

Might be worth trying dips 3 and 7 both on. I have yet to find a falcon that works without both 3 and 7 turned on :)

Seems like you were in 1 hell of a rush to get this done, the console certainly is done. Looks like you were having better results with the RGH2 method. This stuff takes patience and skill, if you lack 1 or the other you'll end up having a lot of problems with the install. I'd say use that Falcon Motherboard to practice on before attempting another install or just buy a chipped console and save yourself the money and time. Looks like E on the CR4 had a bad day , good luck man!

you would think they would look at some other installs first done by pro's or even people like myself who have done loads , then compare those pics with their own and think , this is not good enough, but they just chuck them in then ask why it is not working , this guy as tried once asked for help then give up , then tried again and asked for again

i think redo all points and use a fine point iron. or ship out and get it done by professional
seems like your leaving the iron on the points for too long. and wires melt and slight board damage and lifted pad on cr4,
good luck!
