F Drive Partiton Missing

I installed a new WD 120GB drive today and went thru the format proceedures and everything appeared to be fine, however I can't see the F drive partition? I tried reformatting again with no luck. Does anyone know why I can't see the partition? Do I have to set something in my X3 BIOS? I tried setting the LBA option still the same deal, no F partition.

Also, can I use linux fdisk to remove the partitions and start over?

Make sure it is not set for a stock drive.... I forget where that setting is but it is in a different place.

make sure that you are not only going the drive options to format but go to the bios options and make sure that you dont have it set to stock or not to set it for larger than 137gb...hope that helps..and when you say that you cant see it are you talking about your dash or the computer or both?
