your drive may not be screwed it probably isnt reporting anything in jf because your onboard sata is not compatible. i have always flash with my onboard sata and a ck3 to control the drive but when my 9504 was updated to 0272 and locked suddenly even tho jf could still see the drive i could no loner get my key or get it into vendor mode on my chipset and needed to buy the usb pro. after i got that i had no problem getting it into vendor mode and getting the key or indeed performing the kamikaze hack.

i would suggest if you get the usb pro and jungleflasher can properly access your drive again then at the very worst you should be able to get the key off it and at best you may not have drilled too deep and still be ok with the kamikaze hack. is the drive still working when you put it back in the xbox? obviously if you hadnt got it unlocked then you couldnt have written over the fw or the key so if its working you should still be ok and if not, ie not eject, spinning up then you have drilled too deep

i didnt think onboard sata worked for slims. TX products make life easy.. shoulda gotten them from the start.

if the error codes are still the same on the slims this is what i found for e65 it may be outdated now but sounds like your problem

E65 - This error occurs if something goes wrong while flashing the drive or installing a modchip. A sign for it is that the dvd-drive can still be flashed and read out. According to XBH: DVD drive is not DMA configured

personally if i was you id get myself a x360usbpro then you know you wont have a compatability issue and when you hook the drive up again through that i think you will be able to get your key still, then at least if u get that its just a case of a new replacement pcb or drive (or control chip but those are only really for pro installers) either way you need that key so your only options are x360usb and extract it from the drive or the reset gliitch hack but tbh if you have screwed up the kamikaze hack i wouldnt advise you to be attempting anything else which could screw up your console further

or else give it to somebody who knows what they are doing and has the correct equipment which may actually be the cheaper option for you unless you plan to keep flashing your drive in the future in which case the gear would be handy.

i could sort it for you easy but im in n.ireland im sure there are plenty of others on here who have the skills to sort it that may be nearer you.

ps you would need a ck3 also because powering it with your xbox is a recipe for disaster with the newer flashing methods

I have probably screwed up over a 100 consoles when I first started we learn by making mistakes the bigger the mistake the more we learn. This forum is here to help people yeah he didn't use the right tools yes he went the cheap route and screwed it up. But we are here to help resolve the issue.

He deserved his 360 to be f**ked regardless of the method.

I used my sisters toaster and soldered point 12, 18 and 71 but some how i cant get the key, i really wondered why.

pro modders kits and pcb aside. They do supply x360usb pro and ck3pro/lite and with the help of jungle flasher make this process alot less risky. FACT

maybe, but they don't come cheap. sure this guy'll learn, he'll have to buy nand x and cool runner if he wants any hope of recovering that key. but he'll learn his lesson

but what haxzor or whatever is saying that we shouldn't help anybody not using the tools. i mean am all for supporting team x because there products are always trustworthy but this guy is just being a plain d**k.

i mean i was one of the people encouraging others to do the kamikazi method because i honestly felt it was fairly easy
