LITEON 9504 Failed to install xdg3 GOW

Hi guys I am trying to play my backup of gears of war 3 but it fails to install at 49% and while playing online if I sit in the menus to long I get the failed to authorise message and it resets my xbox.

The original plays and installs just fine but my backup will not. I have burned 3 verbatims all giving me the same error.

I am using the xecuter unlocked pcb and liteon 2.0 firmware.

Any suggestions

Try burning at a slower speed if you can.

I burned the first couple at 4 speed as I have done for years without a problem.
I dropped to 2 speed for the last one and same problems.

Both failed to install at 49% and when playing online I can get a few games in but eventually after an hour or so it comes up failed to authorise.

My dvd burner is good and so are my disks any ideas where I am going wrong?

Thanks for suggestions guys but I have tried different speeds and its not helping I am getting same errors.

Anyone got a different suggestion as to what the problem might be?

Try using clone cd.
Try cleaning your laser.
Try pot tweaking.
Try a new burner.

So I have updated to the latest img burn to see if that would help and also though I would try a different game so I have made a backup of my game 'Rage'

I am having the exact same problem trying to install rage- it fails at 49%

So far no problems playing the game for a couple of hours but I can't understand why it isn't installing. Could I have possibly flashed it wrong?

The disks I am using are top quality verbatim and the xbox I am using is a very well looked after slim. I do have another pc I can use try and burn them but I am now out of disks and it will be 2 days for me too get some more.

For now I can use my original to install and use the copy to boot but this is not a permanent solution especially with this very worrying message on gears of war about authorisation.

As said I have been playing backups for years and have total faith in my disks and my xbox and my burner and I don't believe they are the problem any other ideas??????

I had problems installing with backups made in imgburn (stopped at 44% instead)

Try clonecd, it's worked for me with driver and gears

try first turning your pc off for a time.then start it and burn with imgburn only no other program running and don't touch your pc. if this didn't work try using optriac burners models.thy're good with a decent price.check you hard drive for bad sectors.

Having faith in your equipment is alright but they are allowed to age and become worn.

failing at 49% each time would lead me to think that its struggling around the layer break portion of the disc maybe new burner program or drive laser isn't to far from being right atleast it would rule them out if you tried them.

I will try on my other pc in a few days when I get more disks (it is an i3 and the dvd drive has never been used).
Also I will try clone cd when I get my new disks.

I will let you know how that goes.

Not sure if I made it clear that it is just these xdg3 games that I am having problem with all other burn and install fine.

Also is this message on gears of war something I should worry about??? failed to authorise???

Try ripping the original game again but in slower speed in xbox backup creator. It happend to me. I put in 5x speed and I didn't get no errors while ripping.
