Hi,

I just tried to update and it failed :( Anything I can do now?

I started with a Slim with LiteOn 9504, Dash 12625

This is what I did (after reading a lot):

- flashed OFW
- testet with original, OK
- installed Dash 13146 (USB Stick)
- testet with original, still OK
- as expected, drive was now a 0272
- flashed to LTPlus-0272-v1.92.bin
- tested Original & backup - OK.
- tried to install Dash 13599 (USB Stick)
*****FAIL*****
Black screen:
Can't update your console.
335A-351F-B800-0401-C000-0001

Looked at the drive wit JF. Still 0272, but now LOCKED.

From Google result I think, this error code means, the update is not "accepting" the firmware - does that mean, LT+1.92 has a problem? Or did I do something wrong?

Thanks for any input,
- Oliver

Its times like this.... you wish you had read the how to's before you jump in! I hope you have an MXIC chip to make it easy on yourself
Please, I read a lot of howtos. The way I did it was reported as the only way to get to 13599 with a 9504 without needing to unlock :(

If I had a MXIC, I would have installed 13599 right away and flashed to LT+1.92 after that.

OK. I was lucky and found a shop who still has some TX PCBs. I really hope this, flashed with stock fw, will fix it.

As Far I Know Lt 1.91 & Lt 1.92 comes With 13599 dash
Sorry, I don't understand that.

On 12625, my drive was a 9504.
13146 flashed it to 0272
13599 was reported to only lock, not reflash when drive already at 0272. And it was reported, dash update accepts 1.91 as "stock". Either that is not true or 1.92 is not "as good as 1.91"

LT+1.92(for 0272) is a cfw which can replace 0272 ofw. So neither "1.92 comes witrh 13599" nor 13599 comes with 1.92". Can you explain what you meant?

13599 updates fw and locks you drive.:rolleyes2:

this is why you return your drive to stock fw before you update the dash.

I mean LT 1.92 Have 13599 Dash

And What version U Have MXIC/Winbond ?

If u Have MXIC than u will require an Xecuter Sputnik360 Switch or Xecuter Sputnik360 Probe
And if you have a Winbond flash then you’d have to use the dangerous Kamikaze drill hack if you want to flash your drives. Naturally you can also use the Xecuter DG-16D4S Unlocked PCB and the Xecuter Unlocked Pro Kit also (however, they are now very hard to get hold of)

You said you been reading alot but you seem to missed the faq's of 13599 http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=67765
..which says on the very first line:

If you REALLY want to update, flash to LT+ v1.9 first then update at your own risk. The fw will be ok but the SPI will lock and you may get flagged for a ban.

Therefore I'd assume from this that what smeagle did should have worked. I don't know why it didn't.

Yes, I read that.

1. We recommend that you DO NOT update on 9504/0272 drives - they lock the spi on the chip (just like we told you they could). If you REALLY want to update, flash to LT+ v1.9 first then update at your own risk. The fw will be ok but the SPI will lock and you may get flagged for a ban.
So the FAQ you are pointing me to says, it works just like I did it, just with a risk for a ban.

And again, I read a lot of reports, that when updating from 13146 to 13599 1.91 is accepted. So I wanted to report, that FOR ME 1.92 is not accepted.

There is no need to tell me I should have informed me better. Only thing I did wrong was, I did not wait for reports if this works with 1.92, too.

Hi!

Please help, I can't get this to work :(

I got a TX unlocked PCB. I put OFW 0272 on it, locked it.

Now I get "Applying Update" for a short while and then a new Update Error:

335a - 351f - b800 - 0401 - c000 - 0022

Any Idea?

Yes, I did.

OK, to be exact: I moved it to the "other position". I can't read anything on the PCB and got no manual, so I am not sure where WP=0 and WP=1 is ;)

I read it comes with WP=1 so now it should be WP=0.

Shall I move the switch and try again?

You can not use TX PCB for 0272 drives in the 13599 update. The only way is to put the original PCB. It has been said thousand times before

Really? I never read this before!

I asked in several threads what to do and always got the answer to get a unlocked PCB.

So the kamikaze hack is really the only way to do it??? I don't want to do that.
