Assuming that you haven't done anything with the console (in terms with updating the dashboard) between dumping the NAND and now, then it's definitely not LDV.

So, the only other thing unfortunately is a proper RRoD.

No Martin, Nothing at all.
Dumped the nands, checked them.
Write ecc.
Install coolrunner.
turn the xbox - nothing
flash original - 0022
Remove CR with original nand - 0022

It can't be a real RROD. If i have it programed with ecc and CR installed it does not get 0022. It just won't boot. CR blinks green once and the fans won't reset every 5/6 seconds.

Oh right, ok.

So the fact that the ECC file prevents 0022 errors from appearing and attempts to cycle the CPU RESET has absolutely nothing to do with it.

Thanks for putting me straight on that.

It very well could be a real rrod. I had a falcon the other day that went rrod after I had read the nand. When I flashed the ecc file no rrod, flashed back orig nand and rrod.

Hey Viper, i really don't want to think about a real rrod. That would be real unlucky..

- Is it possible being a real RROD when in case i have the ecc flashed and the CR connected the console doesn't go rrod?
- I just have a rrod if i flash the original nand, wich btw i will do again today. In this case the console goes rrod after 30 seconds or so.
- Another thing is the console behavior with ecc and CR installed for a falcon. it just blinks green once and the fans won't reset. Could this be due a real RROD?
- Then why would the fans reset with ecc flashed but CR disconnected? (and NO RROD here too)

Remove all wiring and flash back your retail NAND (only need first 50 blocks). If you still get RRoD after 30 secs, either you've damaged the board or (more than likely), it's a proper RRoD.

How old is the console (MFR date) ?

I agree with MartinC.
I had a simular thing, my xbox wouldn't glitch/boot also a few days after a rgh mod.
Got no RROD either, just the center green light.
After flashing the retail nand back and switching the coolrunner to prg it showed a RROD.
Not a 0022 but a 0110, reflowing did the job to get it working again.

The best way to check this is returning to stock and switch on the box, you'll know soon enough.......

Hope you can fix it!

Before i desolder everything again i decided to inspect the whole board for bridges.
I find a resistor that was bridged, probably soldering or desoldering something some solder flew away :s

so i fixed it and flash retail nand. First from 0 - 50 then the complete nand unmapped and remapped.
The result was the same everytime. No rrod. No image. Just the center light blinking (dvd off) and that was it.

Then i thought, maybe it's something in nand that won't compromise the ecc. maybe it wouldn't glitch because of the bridged resistor but now it will. Flashed ecc again, soldered CR again, but it won't glitch. Same thing. green Flash once, fans do not reset. No RROD.
I believe the rrod has gone. It was caused by the bridged resistor

So flash back your full retail NAND, set the CR to PRG (to disable it), pull the PSU for 30 secs to clear the SMC and fire it up. You should boot into retail dash.

Can you confirm?

Martin it won't boot :s
remapped the bad block (nandpro nanddump.bin: -r16 0321.bin 3ff 1; nandpro nanddump.bin: -w16 0321.bin 0321 1) , flashed the retail nand but i get no image on screen. Tried without the CR.
something doesn't let the console boot to dashboard, and probably that's the same thing that won't let the fans reset, and de CR flash the green light with the ecc. I just don't know what

Have you flashed back your orig nand without remapping?
^good Q

Why are you just mapping one block?

Can you do me a favour and stop trying to manually move blocks as it's crystal clear you've haven't a clue what you're doing with them?

Just flash your original (hopefully untouched) NAND back to the console:

nandpro usb: -w16 nandump.bin

Yes i did flash the unmapped nand. that was the first thing i did, same result :s
Martin i am remapping one block because i have a bad block (0321)

Like I said, don't as you don't understand what you're doing.

If you flashed back the full NAND as advised, 0x0 - 0x400 has been reflashed. Since your bad block reserved data starts at 0x3E0, it's all reflashed anyway. There is literally nothing for you to do.

Did you try to boot it with a different AV cable?
I know it's a (very) long shot but i know that a faulty HDMI cable can give you a center led only without boot....

It's worth the try.....

Well Martin in my slim i had to remap the bad block flashing the original nand. Otherwise the console would give me a E79. Never had to remap bad blocks again since the consoles i did did not have bad blocks in the first 50 blocks, if they had in the 51-400 rawflash would take care of them.
So thats why i remaped the bad block.
Anyway, the result is the same with ou without remapping :s

Hey dumaytje tks but thats not the problem, i just did another falcon this morning, everything perfect :)
