Falcon 0022 Error + Help with .ecc.

Hi there I have installed my CoolRunner Rev B on a 14719 Dashboard CB 5773.

Now heres the story. Originally I ordered the QSBs thinking that it was compatible with this dashboard but it turned it wasn't so I waited for RGH 2.0 so now I am super excited and have removed the QSB and soldered the wires on the board. Now the first time I installed the RGH with the QSBs it had the 0022 RROD and i wondered why so I removed it completely and turned it on, it worked fine with no errors. So last night when the RGH 2.0 was out I installed the wires onto the board and then turned it on to see if the wiring was messed up and it booted fine of course no RGH as it wasn't programmed yet but as soon as I removed that capacitor from the coolrunner it is now 0022 RROD again. I have tried bridging the point aswell but with no luck.

And can someone create an .ecc file for me, here is my NAND (Falcon 14719 5773 CB): http://www.mediafire.com/?qampefc6bu6sbdb

well, its surely not going to work if you close that circuit as you are binding one of the wires (i think D?) to ground directly!

can you explain a little more with what you've done?

what xsvf are you using?
did you +w16 the .ecc correctly?

you haven't really provided much info, other than your nice pics

Where is your 10 Ohm resistor?

honestly, a 10ohm resistor isn't required, but testing showed a dramatic increase in boot reliability when using a low value resistor on D

typically you can find the optimal value for your specific box between 5 and 25 ohms

10 was just the best overall performer in testing

Sorry, yeah I should have gave more info. I'll sum it up for you:

-Xbox doesn't turn on NOR or PROG mode with coolrunner (30s then 0022)

-I don't know how to create a new .ecc image with the RGH 2.0 files, please can you help me

-I have programmed with the latest falcon xsvf (TX_RGH2_B.xsvf)

-I have dumped the NAND twice successfully

One small problem and I know you'll hate this but I haven't actually put a 10 ohm resistor on it yet, does it really need it?

so you haven't created and flashed the .ecc file to the NAND?

you can't expect to see XELL if you don't have an .ecc built correctly

personally, it might just be worth it to wait until programs are updated
(jrunner, multibuilder, etc)

No but what I really want to know is why it wont turn on even when the coolrunner is turned off? Its all retail NAND etc nothing changed but still gets 0022.

What do you think of my soldering around the HANA?

well, for one thing, you have too much wire exposed for the orange wire (B)

i would say, take a wire cutters and cut off half of the tinned wire you see there

then you would have non-conductive plastic hanging over the adjacent resistor pad (one that you shouldn't be soldering on) rather than conductive wire

i hope that makes sense

that being said, it doesn't appear that anything is shorting out

check to make 100% sure you didn't swap around the E and F wires (as they are the same color wires in your setup)

i swapped those once and it confused the heck out of me for a couple hours

Yeah that makes sense, btw the F on my board is white the other green wire your seeing is my NAND-X cable :) Em I think I might re-solder the whole point as what your seeing is not all cable its a bit of left over solder aswell, but ill post my results later. About the .ecc I have never really used pyhton scripts before and so when I load it open it tells me to install pycrypto. But I have no idea on how to install this and the website is down so I cant download it :(

Could you possibly make me an .ecc for my setup please

Thanks for the support

yeah, you do have different colors
i must be going blind or something

anyway, unfortunately, i'm not able to make .ecc as i'm logging in from my phone

however, the fact that your xbox won't boot a stock nand with the CR on PRG is rather disconcerting

it would be a good idea to resolder your points, making sure to use plenty of flux and NOT a lot of exposed wires :)

OK will do.
