I've just glitched my 5th machine, this ones a falcon. From a cold start it nearly always glitches first atttempt, but when it doesn't it never will - the CR flashes green once and once only. If i unplug it from the psu, and then try again it will work.

I'm pretty happy with the soldering and wire routing, is there any obvious reason for this too happen.

Wiring inteferences I would say. Have you insulated the wires in anyway?

I've never tried insluating the wires before, so will give it a try if the problem persists.

As for wire placement, i use the recommended placment avoiding all the coils and i use lead solder and a decent iron.

one thing of note, this was the second CR i installed in this console - the first CR wouldn't do anything, after checking my wiriing i decided to try another CR and it works - sort of.

I'll strip it down later and take some pics, i'll remove the hot glue and let the wires hang loose to see if that helps.
Maybe it needs a capacitor. I tried that on a Falcon once and it worked :)

I know its for Jaspers but you never know....
