I have a Falcon that was JTAGed but doesn't boot anymore. CB is 5770 and original dashboard is probably 7371. I managed to get cpukey from xell but I'm unable to create a working jtag nand so I would like to switch to RGH with CoolRuuner.

I tried creating original nand with Multi Builder (displays an error) and J-Runner (doesn't boot). Since this CB can't be RGHed I need to create a working original nand and update to higher dashboard. Could you help me out?

Also explain what you mean by it doesn't boot anymore, RROD, Black screen etc... If it RROD, Whats the secondary code?
What dash was it when it stopped working?, Did you accidentally update it? And have you tried Jtag tool? I know these newer tools work just fine but it's worth a try.

This is not my console, so I'm not sure what was done, neither does the customer.

I tried updating JTAG with the cpu key I retreived from xell but I get 1RROD, E74, 1022

I tried using another donor Falcon original nand on 7371 encrypted with the CPU key from this console but I get 3RROD, 0022.

Multi Builder doesn't workd because this CB can not be RGHed.

Here is my dump and cpukey:

Check PD address, seems weird.

I didn't try JTAG Tool because I can't find it anymore. I used Jrunner and Multi Builder.

It is HIGHLY UNLIKELY that E74 is related to bad nand flash, usually E79, E71, and with RGH 0020. Why would you want to go from JTAG to CoolRunner, doesn't make any sense to me.

It is likely that when you created your image you did not select the correct hack type (AUD CLAMP, ORIGINAL, etc etc) so you need to check the JTAG wiring, however if you have E74 it is very likely the console is dead and requires a reflow/reball, more likely a reball if it's a true E74.

I believe you can boot Xell with a E74 console as the EDRAM is not used, but I cannot say that is 100% fact.

But if it was E74, would Xell still work?
I picked the correct settings, I'm well aware of different JTAG wires.

In one of the tests I also received E79.
