falcon gpu on xenon board.

Hi, my question is more or less for the mad scientists in here. I have a fubar 360 motherboard (damaged pads on cpu) which has a falcon gpu (80nm edram + 90nm gpu) i believe X810480-001. I also have a jtag with a damaged gpu here X02056-010.

I have read different articles on the question if you can transplant the gpu from a xenon to a falcon, and there seemed confusion already. one person said it could be done, others say you need the same model number and revision doesn't matter. But i've yet to come across an article on if it's possible to put a falcon gpu on a xenon.

I'm willing to try it just for proof of concept. But if anyone knows that it's impossible (too much current or not pin compatible) then please let me know. Gonna stall this a couple of days to see if anyone has tried this yet and knows it's impossible.

Problem is i don't know how long i have to wait until i get a fubar xenon motherboard with X02056-10(11 or 12 or something) gpu. I receive about 2-3 xboxes a week and my repair rate is 99% or more. I think it's stupid to wreck a functioning xbox just to repair another. Even if one is jtaggable and the other isn't...

So anyone with the answer would be greatly appreciated.

I think so too. So i'm hoping someone whose fairly sure of it can come in and tell. i mean i'm not going to waste my time. and cleaning the pads is risky everytime. They'r bound to decay from the heat no matter how carefully you act. Maybe it's better then to just wait for a fubar MB, some are warped so much that a reball is impossible, maybe wait for one of those mb's.
