Okay well I have a 7371 falcon exploitable. I got matching nands through jtag tool. Once I write xell it gets E79. When I copy back the original nand through jtag tool it's working again. After googling for many hours I think it's because I used alternate points. I might have to change some settings on jtag tool. I'm not sure what to change though. Here are pictures of what points I used. I haven't had any problems with the usb spi so far.

I used a DB1F1 alternate I found in this tutorial
specifically these pictures

I also used an alternate point on the RF panel.
It's on page 10 of this tutorial (the dotted line)

This is what my soldering looks like.

Could someone please help? I've been trying to find an answer for hours on end.

Please - remove everything you've done and get this to someone who will cleanly JTAG it for you. All that exposed wire where you're programming as well as the uncertainty of where to solder next and it's only by some miracle that you've not killed it already.

The normal points are not hard to solder to - if you have to resort to splicing into a wire (and can't work out a cleaner way to do this), JTAGing is NOT for you.

To answer your question - the problem is you're using an unsupported configuration in any of the available tools. (DVD_Tray only).

I've surprisingly jtagged an xenon in the past a long time ago. It has been working perfectly fine as well to this day lol. The only problem I had was that DB1F1 spot. I only spliced into that wire because of a tutorial that said it was okay to (looked easiest).

I'll go back and fix the exposed wires, the ethernet wires are pesky because of how thick they are. Maybe I'll use thinner simpler wires for better use.

How do I go about doing the DB1F1 point. It's got copper on it so that I can't connect solder to it.Do you know which other alternate place would be best? (easiest and works with current tools?) At least point me in the right direction.

That is the only point that I had issues with, I didn't bother with the RF one I just used that one right away. I plan to jtag it or at least try, I like to do things myself (horrible or not), I was successful in the past so hopefully it goes okay from here on. :)

It is your wiring. All i see there is a mess. If you can jtag id clean up ur wires and redo them all or like Martin said get someone who can do this properly

Okay, I'll not use an ethernet cable because they are quite thick. I'll switch to regular wires like I did with the jtag points. I'm confident I can clean it up a lot. I'll be sure they are better then post new pictures in this post. Then see if I did it better or not.

If you've messed up the top DB1F1, there's another 2/3 points you can use on the underside. However I'm reluctant to even point you in this direction as if you're having issue with the top point, you'll not manage the others and make the whole thing a lot worse.

use the audio clamp and dvd tray point on the bottom of the mother board. go out and get yourself some flux and awg30 wire. some heat shrink wrap would clean things up alot to and make it look for proffesional

Okay these are my new nand usb spi points I did.

I am pretty certain that DB1F1 point is not going to happen. I just cant stick any solder to it. I doubt there is any way possible way to do that point.

I tried to do it like these tips say from here but I believe I screwed it up a long time ago.
"DB1F1 Soldering Tips:

1. Clean the point well
2. Apply flux to point
3. Apply a small amount of solder to the iron and then put it on the point
4. Flux the diode and tin it (apply a small amount of solder to the diode)
5. Now put the diode were you want it. You can hot glue it to the mosfet next to the point
6. Now take the diode and hold it in place then take the tip of your iron and head the diode it will transfer the heat to the board melting both the solder on the diode and the board together now remove iron and hold it for like 5 seconds so solder can cool and it will stay in place."

Before I solder on the bottom of the motherboard what point/s exactly do I have to do and what settings in jtag tools should I do? I just don't want to mess up completely like I have already. I was looking at this tutorial again but what pictures points are the exact ones I should do? If you can link me the pictures.

Do I leave in the RF point?

Did I improve a lot? :) (Don't mind the extra flux)

After failing horribly on most of the DB1F1 points I went with the aud clamp and open tray. I wrote xell to it and it worked out okay (finally). In the future I'll make everything look neater. Thanks everyone.
