Hi

I've installed coolrunner on my falcon and succesfully dumped the nand and programmed the coolrunner. Switched the CR over to normal and turned on the xbox with video and power attached (along with fan and rf board - dvd not connected)

I get the red power led on and the green flashes every 5 seconds approx but get no output on the tv.

I've gone over my soldering and moved the wires into the recommended positions and can't work out what's gone wrong - can anybody help?

I don't have any decent pictures of my soldering yet but as I've been soldering regularly for the last 15 years I doubt that's the issue.

Which tool did you use to create/flash the .ecc file? Another way to test would be to flash back the first 50 blocks of your original nand, switch the CR to prog, and it should boot to the retail dash.

Sounds like you didn't make a Ecc file. Make a Ecc file and write it to the NAND.

You can see in many post that alot of installs go wrong of have trouble with the install.

first of all i think you can check you the soldering with a multimeter. just use the alt point and/or bottem side of the board.

second like Martin c wrote a couple of times a box should be starting with stock nand with the cr installed.

I have too this problem.
with original nand does work perfectly the box.
If i write ecc and the chip is wired to board, then xell will not boot.
I use matrix chip with falcon.jed.

Idea?
