falcon not turning on after coolrunner installed

well yeah cable looks lose or at least not on that point it should be on.

i wonder if his trace is still good because on his 'blurry' pic it looks like it has been attempted already

the wire's not soldered in that pic - I think he desoldered it for a clearer image.

Folks - you have DIGITAL cameras (or digital cameras in your phones).

DON'T UPLOAD BLURRY PICTURES!! If you take a pic which is blurry, get more light and TAKE IT AGAIN. Don't waste everyone's time trying to make out what something is.

anyway if u aint managed to mess something up already:facepalm:

re-wire and follow a tutorial its not guess work. hope u can sort it but you definately need to re read tutorials and understand what your doing

i know were the wire goes i had desoldered it to show the points i just soldered everywire back to were it goes read my nand twice compared it wrote my .ecc with mutibuiler wrote it to the xbox programmed the coolrunner with jtag tool when i go to turn on my xbox it doesnt turn on i have the switch to normal on coolrunner and phat wont turn on still please help on this thanks

get a clear close up picture from that orange wire you soldered back on there

not very clear though martin as you say, that would explain why it looks about 6 inches away, no comments plz:) but why just a pic of that 1 wire does the op think there may be something wrong with that point?

you soldered it ON the resistor?
that is the problem imo you need to solder it on the point in front on the resistor
as shown on ubergeek's pictures

not at all i desoldered the coolrunner completely and have the the nand x wires still soldered to the board i can still read my nand everything is good just the xbox wont turn on it turned on before and the middle light on xbox just blinked and thats all so i just resoldered it now the xbox wont turn on is there anything i need to remove.

your stby_clk point is screwed up thats the reason for not booting once the pad is destroyed the console will fail to boot(no green light nothing) look in the alt rgh point tutorial and you will see an alt point and how to repair damaged trace just had a clients board that wouldn't turn on and it was a screwed up resistor and pad combo(not by me it was a failed rgh attempt)

are u sure because my point looks nothing like the one in the pic that shows the alternative points and how it looks messed up in the first place il try this hope it works.
