Are you using the OPEN_TRAY point on the underside of the board by any chance?

If so, avoid it and go for the AUD_CLAMP spot and FT1U2.
You know what I haven't even checked the underside to where its going to. I wasn't the one who jtagged it I recieved it like this. I will pull it apart and change it up. I haven't even taken it out of the cage lol.

Instead of FT1U2, you may find it easier soldering to this alternate point (just above FT2R2).

The AUD_CLAMP spot is on QN21, see here.
So should I change both the db1f1 and the other point or canI leave db1f1 in tact and just change to the aud_clamp? After I change them I'll need to rebuild the nand for the correct smc right or would it be ok? I've never changed the points before so that why I'm asking.

You can leave DB1F1 as it is if you wish and just move the wire currently soldered to OPEN_TRAY across to QN21.

Yes, you will indeed need to build a new image with a hacked AUD_CLAMP SMC.
