So I have more than one this is giving me a problem. The first one that was giving me a problem was booting just fine but when i gave it back to the customer it quit booting after he put it back in the case. Well in that process of him playing around with it he knocked off a cap on the bottom side of the board, found out it didnt matter if it was there and booted retail just fine. CR would not flash green at all! No matter how many times i redid the soldering on it even tired a different CR and the same results. But i ended up resoldering the cap that broke lose on the one side and it did some nice fireworks. But the ROL i had in it will not light up any more in ANY system.

And now both the CR's that i tried in that box will not blink green at all. Im currently working on another system to see if they still work they both get power just no green blink..

My other problem I have is one of the xboxs had a couple bad blocks when i started, when i went to get the CPU key it would not boot and when i went to write the original back only 1 bad block wrote back. Jrunner went and did its auto thing with them and now the system will not boot into retail dash and block 384 is not bad anymore. And i kinda think that thats the reason it will not boot now. Dash on this box was 12something. CB is 5771. Im not worried about the first system as i have put the retial back on and was working fine. This other box i would like to try and get RGH since i do not have the DVD key to put a drive in it.

And as stated before. The CR is not CONNECTED! All that is hooked up at the moment is the nand-x. It reads and writes just fine, it will not write 1 of the 2 bad blocks to the nand.
Not quite sure why you decided to go all CAPS!!!! on the guy who was trying to help you, so here is a bit of an insite.

First, you don't state if you got at least two matching dumps. My guess would be no based on your comment about writing back. The most common reason for inconsistent dumps, and read write errors to the NAND is soldering. Hence, it needs a photo.

Second, you may have removed your CR, but the problem you have described could be linked to a damaged component by the STBY_CLK. Again, a photo would eliminate or confirm that.

I could well be wrong, but you seem to be suggesting that J Runner has somehow changed the NAND and its being written back incorrectly - I can tell you I haven't seen a single credible post where someone has suggested the same, so you might want to put that on the back burner, and look at the more obvious causes first.

And while you are uploading your photo's, a log would be a good idea as well.:rolleyes2:
