Try bridging the cap pads.
It probably won't make a difference but at this point, the process of trial and error seems to be the only way.
No luck..

Reboot your laptop. Prob just a USB error with loadingNow my NANDX wont show up on my windows laptop, but it shows up on my Macbook running parallels, any ideas?
Ive resoldered it like 3 times, tried different wire.. Inspected it with a magnifier.. No luck.. Should I try the 50ohm cable, or will its weight pull on it tohard?Martin is right. I'd triple check pll_bypass... even when that spot looks perfect, a cold solder joint will do exactly what you described

I'd check to make sure you didn't pull the pad from the trace from over soldering. Got a scratch pen?Ive resoldered it like 3 times, tried different wire.. Inspected it with a magnifier.. No luck.. Should I try the 50ohm cable, or will its weight pull on it tohard?

The ground is soldered to the AV, where else can it workResolder the GND to the video encasing.
No green blinking light on CR... just a blinking power light. Could mean its not grounded. Like I said, I've seen that exact problem before.

Anywhere metal lol...The ground is soldered to the AV, where else can it work
Yea, I find it weird too, the console I have done the most is Falcon, but this is the only one that gave me problems..Anywhere metal lol...
Its fine there, I'm just saying make sure its a solid connection. I'm really at a loss as to what else could possibly be causing it to not blink green.
...only other possibility could be interference and as for the thicker wire, that's fine - it wont pull too hard on the pad if you just tape it down close to the solder point.

No, red will still light up if the GND is disconnected. The ground is soldered to the AV, where else can it work
Edit: I doubt its that because the red wouldnt have lighted up..
Weird, Ill put another Ground on it thenNo, red will still light up if the GND is disconnected.

I just added another ground and no luckWeird, Ill put another Ground on it then
Damn, tried it but I the weight of the NANDX moved the coolrunner and lifted my STBY_CLK.... I'll get this fixed tomorrow..I got nothing left... maybe if I had the system in front of me... but wow...
Have you tried programming the CR with different settings? Can't hurt - maybe your board is confused. Lol ... its a falcon, but its really a Jasper?? Or a zephyr...
Good luck bro... good luck

I have already tried this, but will retry it again in a bitFor the record, I've had a console with a completely disconnected CPU_PLL_BYPASS and the CR still attempted to glitch (green LED flashed every so many seconds).
Right now, I would GUESS it's your STBY_CLK, since I had the exact same problem with my g/f's Jasper console after I put it back together. Turned out I'd completely shredded the wire with one of the long case screws. >_< Replaced that and it booted fine.
I'd solder to the alt point near the southbridge, and use one of long blue wires from the Slim wires pack. Just make sure you trim to length, obviously.![]()
