Hi, I've dumped the nand twice from my working falcon which matched, programmed the coolrunner no probs, wrote the ecc back to the nand turned on box and just get a flashing green light in the centre (because i dont have the DVD connected), no error, nothing, have left it for about 5 minutes, and the coolrunner doesn't pulse or anything, just a constant red light with no green pulses.

If i write back the original nand file i dumped, the coolrunner actually pulses green every now and then, maybe every 5 seconds or so, before after about a minute, showing 0022. if i then remove all the coolrunner soldering with original dump written to nand, i get E79.

THe nand dumps can be opened in flash 360 and show as CB5771. Have done Jtags in the past with no problems, altho the soldering for RGH is a little more challenging, i've double checked and triple checked the soldering was good before i removed it to test original nand dump.

This is kinda drivin me mad, has anyone else had this prob and sorted it? if so how? ANY ideas would eb welcome on this.

Thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply, i followed the info in this thread initially http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=75945

Have also built the ecc via multi builder 0.4 and used the following command:
nandpro usb: +w16 image_00000000.ecc
as I have also followed Fibers glitch guide but get the same result.

Just to add, I had no bad blocks when reading the nand.

Just to clarify, i can't get Xell to boot, let alone anything else.

i just had that same problem, all solved by updating my dashboard from 13146 to 13604... i even left my chip installed during the update just set it to PRG Mode.

Once thats was done redumped my nand created ecc , injected the ecc and xell booted in less then 3 seconds from boot.

no wire changes nothing it was simply the 13146 dashboard causing the problem

but the 0022 i did not have... this was simply just a balck screen after ecc fix.

0022 is generally a wiring problem expecially check your points

It is definitely to do with wiring of CoolRunner.

Check the soldering of A,B,C,D solder pads on your falcon Motherboard.
If you can not boot to Xell, did you actually forget to solder B pad(C3B2) on the motherboard.
As long as all the wires are soldered properly from CR to Mobo, you should get GREEN LIGHT FLASHING every 2-5 secs, which means the CPLD (CoolRunner) trying to inject its program(in tis case falcon.xsvf).

I wish I had known this a few days ago as I had the same problem. Shame cos I ended up destroying a trace near my stby clk point when trying to resolder.
