So i was installing a TX CR on a Falcon.

I had a hard time programming, but got it right.

Installed everything fine, and the when i turn the x360 on the TX CR green light briefly lights up and then it never pops up again. Already tried create ecc with jtagtool and multibuilder.

I checked the connections with a multimeter and they are fine i guess (this is my 4th TX CR installation)

Here are some photos (note i only learned soldering 3 months ago, so i guess it's not that bad.)

Yeah after seeing the photos i tough that too, and i resolder it, same thing.

The CR was verified, so i guess it is programmed rightly. The mobo i'm using nandpro 2.0d with nand-x as i always do.

Have you tried to do everything with Jtag tool. I just finished mine with Jtag tool start to finish and it booted right up. It even ensures that you program the coolrunner correctly!

Can you snap a shot of the coolrunner as well please?

Unfortunately i can't do that, cables are not out yet on UK resellers :\ So i can't update my nand-x, and obviously i dont have the nand-x -> CR cable.

I've never had this problem, glitched slims and jaspers, this is my first falcon.

The only that bothers me is that the CR green light pops up just a second when i turn the console on.

I can try programming the CR again, and check how that goes.

If the green light aint flashing , looking at your wiring i`m guessing the chip aint programmed right . What cable you using to program it ? You say you had probs doing it . What were they ?

Also . gnd and 3.3v on the chip are wayyyyyyy too close

another thing you need to do is have the green wire come in from the other direction . It`s too close to the point next to it and the resistor above it

Is check to ensure that your orange wire is not touching both pads. You may want to take it at a slight angle.

I promise I am not trying to pick on your soldering. It does look pretty good. But if is not your soldering then its your programing. Seeing as how the green light flashes that tell me that its trying to glitch yet the glitch just isnt happening. The falcons are the easiest to glitch so chances are it is something simple that we just arent seeing. next step is to pick apart your programing. Darn shame you cant get the adapter cables yet.
Have you put any thought into ubers Build your own TuT?

I was just looking at that to. I tried to enhance the image but it got blurry for me. It does look like there is a short there but the Coolrunner is powering on so its hard saying.

@AudioProUK: The problem were that i was always receiving this message:

ERROR:iMPACT - A problem may exist in the hardware configuration.
Check that the cable, scan chain, and power connections are intact,
that the specified scan chain configuration matches the actual
hardware, and that the power supply is adequate and delivering the
correct voltage.
Until i resolder the cable (i have a lpt homemade cable) to the pins and it worked.

I can give a touch up to gnd and 3v3 but i don't think they are touching.

@keil423: You can't see in that picture but the B point is not touching both pads, of that i'm sure.

Well i will go programmed it again, and see if that works. If it doesn't i have to rewire it again.

Edit: Bah, resolder the green wire, to the other side like AudioProUK said, 1 light boot. It´s working :)
