Hi all, after some help. Ive just reballed an xenon that had no vision but sound, and low and behold it was on dash 6683 so it only seemed right to jtag it:). After lots of problems with the diode method E79, i used the 3 330 ohm resistors and got it working the problem is only one of the two fans work, the one on the right as you look at it from the heatsinks isnt spinning, ive tried four different fans and each giving the same problem. I went ahead and installed fsd and when you alter the fan speed it just stays the same it doesnt alter at all.
Does anyone know of a fix, ive look around the motherboard and i cannot see anything obvious
thanks.

the only solution would be to hard wire the fans to a 12 volt point on the board but then u wouldnt be able to adjust the fan. :)

already did that was a bit noisy but in fairness the gpu cpu never went above 48 degs.
I think something in the fan cct is blown, ive just joined the red/brown and black/blue wire with the points underneath and both fans are working, but again the fsd fanspeed has no effect.

yeah i think the fan pin on the board one is for a sensor which lets you adjust the fan sound's like its stuffed.if it's to noisy maybe replace the fan with a talismoon whisper legacy they are really quiet. :) plus the talismoon will keep the gpu even cooler.
