fan speed

i have a x2 2.6 ce chip. I want to bumb up the fan speed a little more to help cool off things a little better. any whay i can do this

if you flashed the latest X2 5035 bios then there's an option to change the fan speed in the x2config.ini file
just edit it to the speed you want

where is thta file suposed to be loacated. I get loading x2 config live then it flips right to my dash. I looked when i flashed my chip i did not have that ini file on my xbox. I did not recive that when i first downloaded it. I have it now and i made the changes. i put it the root of c: in my xbox. please advise where it is supposed to go.

the x2config file can go in the root of either the F or E drive

If you don't mind the noise you could cut the negative (black) wire going to the fan and ground it to the metal shielding of the Xbox. That will cause the fan to run at 12 volts instead of 7, but it will be noticably louder.
