no i only installed xell to get the dvd key for some guy, and flashed the original image back,

tried the console for a few min, was normal

placed it in the cage and it went crazy,

took it out still crazy

flashed the original twice still crazy

there are no bad blocks at all with my 3 dumps

just 3 differences were there anazlyed it using nand healer said no bad blocks

dont know

now im trying to read the nand again i get problem reading 2 blocks

may this be the problem

Fixing ECC blocks
Step 1 of 2: Reading nand1_0160.bin.............Read error(1), retrying....
Step 1 of 2: Reading nand1_0160.bin.............Read error(2), retrying....
Step 1 of 2: Reading nand1_0160.bin.............Read error(3), skipping block.
Step 2 of 2: Reading nand1_0398.bin.............Read error(1), retrying....
Step 2 of 2: Reading nand1_0398.bin.............Read error(2), retrying....
Step 2 of 2: Reading nand1_0398.bin.............Read error(3), skipping block.

i wish someone would gide me to using the power from the dvd drive cable

i forgot how it was done

I steal power from the DVD drive on fan mods and never had an issue with it to be fair. Thats just my experience though.

However mate it could just be as simple as its over heating. Ive spoke to a few people having this problem and its because when theyre lifting the motherboard out theyre holding on to the heatsink and breaking the seal of thermal paste. Try taking heatsink off and adding better thermal paste incase youve broke the paste thats on there since the rubbish they use can crack.

Will your system still be able to control fan speed if you take power from elsewhere? Will fans not always spin at same speed?

Do fans go crazy as soon as you turn on console or does it take a while?

The worst part of all this is you only needed to write back the 50 blocks that the ecc occupied to return it to stock.

nandpro usb: -w64 nand.bin 0 50.

Fans go crazy if your config block is wrong. I suggest you run your NAND dump through multi_builder and make a new one. Flash xell back to the console and write your new retail nand using rawflash.
