Something i just want to run by anyone having having issues with the fast boot on first power up then freeze and then takes a while to boot up again.

I struggled with this on the first RGH jasper i did so i tried wires in all sorts of placements and combinations. After a while i was just content to have it freeze on first boot, reboot and wait a while until it booted up again.

Until two days ago i just couldn't stand it so i started messing with the wires again and noticed if i moved the green wire around(not on the bottom of the board but as it comes off the CR) I got different results. Moving away from the coolrunner towards the fan, the green light would flash at the same intervals but very quickly and almost never glitch, but as i moved it towards the chip it would blink much more slowly and glitch more often. so after playing around for a few minutes i pulled the wire to where it crosses, but not touching the ground and the 3.3v points on the CR chip, the green light blinks and stays on for a second and Boom! boots perfect everytime with no freezing even when i just power on and off it boots every time like a normal box.

I've done two now with the same results so i thought i would post this hoping it might help someone out :)

Here's a pic of one in progress. Not the best quality but you get the idea.

Also note the position of the yellow(post_out1) i forgot to mention the position of this seemed to be important as well.

Also i used the alternate point for the stby_clk, all four wires
running through the same hole.(Tight!) i used no qsb's.

From what i can tell of the ones i have done so far any problems i had with constant or random freezing had to do with wire positioning on the bottom of the board. Slow glitching or the fast glitch and then freeze had to do with the wires as they came off of the Coolrunner.

As i said in the post it was a work in progress just to show how i positioned the wires coming off of the CR to stop the slow glitch and the instant glitch and then freeze on the other jaspers i had problems with.

just wanted to get the pic up for the guys who were waiting.

I know it may not work exactly the same for everyone but it worked for me so i thought i would post.

As i said it seems to be the way the wires come off the CR.
