I was wondering if anyone knows how I can transfer my 500gb, external, FAT32 hard drive, which is full of all my 50+ games, to a 500gb, FATX hard drive that goes in the hard drive shell of a phat Xbox 360. ?

Can I just put a FAT32 HD into the enclosure and plug it in or will the Xbox not read it?

You need to format the hard drive with the console to put a FATX partition on there.

The only way I can think of doing this is to backup everything you have on the hard drive, format it with the console and then transfer everything back to it.

Alternatively, get another hard drive for the console and use it to store your gamer profile and DLC.

You can explore the hard drive on your computer with Party Buffalo Drive Explorer or you can boot FSD and FTP everything to the hard drive.
You say I can explore my laptop hard drive with Party Buffalo but, does Party Buffalo have the ability to transfer all the contents from my laptop to the FATX hard drive?
