here is the code if someone wants to test it out!
this was taken from xbox-scene posted by Looouky

No problem. Technitian, go over to xboxhacker and contact stroker he needs beta tester from fat xboxs for a hacked kernel.

Everyone else I have linked an updated build.py called fatbuild.py that should work on Falcon and Zephyr. The work is not mine, so I don't take credit. All I did was some copy and paste in the right places. Props goes out to [email protected]. Please keep in mind that specific cpld code for the falcon might still be required and is being worked on, if you use a trim cap in your wiring you might be able to get away with the current cpld code for the fat xboxes.

here is a more recent build https://github.com/gligli/tools/commit/4df3b04d1b4da4403d14f033fdeb70f2d68ff9e3

That's exactly what they said mate, thank you for posting this. You have given me and my Falcon hope, I can finally get the drive key from this mother and get it up and running again .
just make sure you have at least 4 matching nand images if your going the lpt way!

oh and you might be able to use the zephyr.jed because it`s practically just an older version of a falcon i believe

I haven't used LPT since XBR lol. I've done many JTags so I understand the full concept of it all.
lol ya i really need to invest into a nandx :rolleyes2:

Just to see if it would work, I tried this on one of my falcons. Used different combinations of CDs and .jed files with no luck as of yet...Anyone have success with the falcon boards?

Don't know if it's relevant, but when booting my Jasper256 that I glitched last night (with no DVD drive) the power light was flashing. On the Falcon it's steady and blinks once when I push the eject button. Is it the same on Zephyrs?

tried to compile cdxell but it was missing cdxell.o and failed...noticed the file sizes were the same so I just renamed CD.tpl to CD and built the ecc image with no errors.

Installing Xilinx tools to make the .jed file now....hopefully it will work, lol

I was able to compile new .jed files and tried several different values between the jasper and zephyr timings (1628 for jasper 1723 for zephyr). No luck. Tried 47nF, 90nF, 120nF, and 220nF caps. Still no luck.

I still think there's something up with the patching of the smc... when booting both Jasper and Slim with no dvd drive connected the power light flashes. When my Falcon boots with no dvd drive the light stays steady. Weird.

Yeah, that's the one I've been using. Still not working. Left my box running for 2 hours with this config: zephyr.jed, ecc file built with the posted build.py(non-Jasper CD), and 100nF cap. Gonna try with the Jasper configs but I'm not holding my breath, lol.

edit: It's been about 45min since running with the Jasper configs. Still no Xell. Gonna try to get my Zephyr console back from my buddy tomorrow and mess around with that one.
