Hmmmmmmm.......

I tried to change my LCD Message using X3 Config Live and it froze,
I read up on this and apparently its a bug with the BIOS. I am using v3108, so went to upgrade my BIOS and switched the bank settings to ON ON ON ON OFF ( ithink thats right, Flash protection was the only one off) and booted my Xbox up. It turned on for about 1 sec and then switched itself of with a sigh like sound. if i then changed the Bank settings without messing with the off or eject buttons, it turns itself back on on that bank. Whats going on ???
I put it down to a faulty connection. If so any help or ideas as to where the fault is and whether or not i can fix it would be greatly appreciated.

Put the switch settings back to their proper position and load X3 Config Live. Select the default skin (even if is already selected, select it again.) Then try to change your lcd settings.
