get dvd2xbox in the usual places.
that will allow you to backup your dvd games to your hdd. of course you are talking about games that you have purchased,right? :wink:

sistem requeierments for flashing ?
OK so y m thinking about flashing my xbox that y m about to get but y would like to know what requirements must y haw at my PC to be able to flash a xbox.
My system has the following
motherboard:Asus P5L-1394,
PCI
1 x PCI-E x16
2 x PCI-E x 1
3 x PCI 2.2
CPU
entium4 3.00Ghz
Memory:1536 MBytes
graphic card:NVidia GeForce 7600GS
Power Supply:AC 230V
So is this sistem good for flashing ??
And another thing does this sata controler run on a PCI 2.2 slot??????? http://www.modtraders.co.uk/via6421.html

shouldnt be a prob, you would be powering it from the xbox or are you getting the ck3?

well if the PC is all good y m gonna buy a ck3 lite .Ive read somewhere that powering the xbox drive from the molex connector reduces power from your PC and can in worst cases shut it down during flashing ?how big of a risk is that ?

no not a prob, if your buying a ck3 lite do you have a serial port on your pc if not then buy the ck3 pro which is usb

yes but if your xbox is new then they are hard to flash you need other bits of kit, there is a new piece of kit, its a probe and it works with the ck3

wheel my xbox hasn't arrived yet so y don't know exactly what drive its gonna bee to know what parts to buy.But cant you flash the 9 series lite On drive without a probe using the MRA hack???

well that's what iv lurned during 2 years of my high school days so y m pretty good at it ,iv soldered a lot things at school and at home, also have a kit so no problem with soldering
