It would be a VERY useful feature for a previous update of SX OS to generally stop GAME UPDATE CHECKS I don't know if this possible but there must be a security command for games to check for OFW-versions...Well, I'm not into this...but I can't imagine this could be so difficult to implement...(I really don't know) If someone knows how this works, please explain :-D !

I think the bigger issue is that people do not know how to update their games. Especially if they are using emunand since if they boot to OFW the games will not show as installed. Also a lot are afraid to connect to the internet in the first place because they do not want to get banned.

There is for sure no reason to not update.

I don't know if this is the right thing to do. But if I can't source an update file manually I boot to OFW, unplug any devices and update games that way from Nintendo. Been doing this for about 3 months and haven't had an issue.

That is one way to do it, but I do not believe it will work if you are using emunand. I think it will show the games as not being installed.

I find the best way is to update is to mount all your games in ofw with SX, restart your console in ofw, check games for update.

Use a tool like sd to nsp to dump the update files to nsp and install them on cfw.

Not checked but SX installer might dump the updates to nsp now.

That will work. I think it depends on what emunand you are using though. I am using the SD files and if I boot to OFW the games show as needing to be installed. It won't update the games in OFW if they are not "installed" I don't think.
