GENERAL Feedback and maybe some input!

I'd like to add some feedback of my experiences with the new firmware Lt v2.0!

First of all on my samsung drive after making a backup of driver and gears of war, i found that when i inserted game the game would show in window click to play the screen would go black the tell me to clean disk so no joy there! So then i installed both games to hardrive with know problems both games copied over fine 100%, great i thought! Clicked play game exactly the same thing please give the disk a clean! No joy there, so i thought maybe the drive so i obtained another drive again a sammy exactly the same problems, please clean disk with soft cloth!

So obtained another drive Benq this time installed firmware and staright away games played fine, hooray hooray at last thanks by the way!

Was just wondering if anyone knows why the sammy's will not work? The first Sammy i tried is virtually brand new! I used the same back ups on all drives no go on sammy's but fine on an old Benq any thoughts would be welcome.

i've got 2 x sammys on 2.0 running fine you might have laser problems. you could try tweeking the pots

You didn't say what the original drive was for this console.

The original drive was a liteon drive!

So you spoofed the Benq to be a Lite-on?

You've answered your own question: You can't replace a Lite-on drive with a Samsung - it won't work. Benq's do work but it's not safe to do so.

Oh ok didn't know that do not go online so didn't think it would matter!

So if I spoof the Samsung as a liteon all should work?

Was it spoofed before? Probably.

There will be issues with spoofing full stop. You are far better to get the proper drive for your console.

Yeah as said before spoofing will always lead to problems, best to leave liteon's as liteon's etc...

Why did it work work without spoofing it as a liteon?

lol - afaik spoofing is not supported by the latest fw and will flag u for a ban and when that happens stop your games from booting....at least that's what Uber mentioned a couple days ago

The original drive was defiantly a liteon because I had to buy a probe 3 to extract a key!

All I've done is put benq in with correct key not spoofed working fine Samsung wouldnt!
