So i am purchasing a Coolrunner REV C and a DemoN so do i need to install the coolrunner first then flash the ecc get my cpukey then install the DemoN and flash each nand to each device (DemoN, Xbox 360)
TBH, no.

I install the DemoN first. You should be able to read the NAND from the 360 with it and write it to the DemoN NAND, then boot it as stock on both.

This is the first test to do and really worthwhile doing. Once you've got it booting on both, you can go ahead and install the Coolrunner. You won't need to write anything to the 360 NAND either as it is all done on the DemoN NAND from this point.

Why would you need your CPU key to write the NAND to your DemoN?

I don't think you understand the product. It's a dual-NAND device.

i know what you meant by install the demon first and put a stock nand on the demon, therefore there is a stock nand on both the demon and the xbox to test to see if everything works, i need to know what nand goes on the demon and what goes on the xbox itself after i install both the coolrunner and the demon

Yes to the above.

If the console is currently booting stock ok, you don't even need the existing backups. You can just dump with the DemoN (360 mode) and write it to the DemoN itself. It'll take 30 secs each way. If it boots ok on the DemoN, you're good to go. ALL actions from this point are on the DemoN NAND. The 360 NAND stays untouched.

Yes, the DemoN will have your RGH NAND on it and the 360 NAND remains untouched. From this point on, you treat the 360 NAND like any other XBL console (accept updates from XBL etc) as you effectively have two consoles in one.

so i do not have to wire the coolrunner any different than the 2.0 guide? besides if i want the demon to turn it off with the EN pad
