Hi Everyone

Since this is my first ever install for the DGX would it be possible if someone could clarify a few questions that i have

1) When i write the DGX ecc do i need to have the JR Programmer plugged in? Because it is unclear in any of the tutorials/videos/manuals i have read and viewed

Yes a jr programmer or nandx as they read and write the nand

2) How i would be able to remove the DGX ecc that has been written to the console. Do i just write the original nand back to the console and it will boot straight to dashboard instead of xell reloaded?

Yes take a nand dump before you do anything then go on advance in j runner and write dgx. After you have the key just write your orignal nand back if you just want to get back to normal

Currently my setup is
-Corona v1 Motherboard
-Xecuter DGX V1.0S
-Xecuter Coolrunner QSB v3
-Xecuter J-R Programmer
-Xecuter Comms USB Cable

Thanks again for your help and sorry if the questions sound

Hi - the DGX ECC occupies the first 50 blocks of your NAND, overwriting whatever's there.

to return the console to the original state, write the first 50 blocks of your dumped NAND back. You can do this with Advanced/Custom NAND/CR Functions. Choose starting block 0 and length 50.

You can just write the whole thing back but there's no point.
