**Read if you want to go straight into the problems**
1)xex menu is corrupted and shows no text. Can't re-download it because I use an external that is not formatted with the xbox. Wondering if I can FTP it to my external.
2) How can I configure my external with my xbox without deleting the 120 games on it
3) How can I create a folder for my patches in freestyle dash

**The story**
So basically I got my RGH yesterday and everything was perfect. The only concerns I had were my xex menu is corrupted. Or at least I think It is. There is no text whatsoever on the program. I was told I don't even need xex menu. All I need is freestyle dash. Well I need to create a folder so I can store my patches so I can just swap them out. I need to put the folder in my usb due to the fact it's an external hard drive. How would I do that? Do I need xex menu? If so can I FTP it to my drive? I can't do it with a usb because my hard external hard drive with over 120 games is not configured with the xbox. I can still use it and see the games but I wouldn't be able to usb transfer. I do have a 60 gb internal hard drive for my profile and game saves though. So that leads me into my next concern. How do I format my external without removing it's contents... That's about it for now. thank you

the external doesnt need formatted at all as long as its FAT32 the xbox will see it and use it perfectly fine.
Yeah fsd3 reads it perfectly fine. It's just the xbox wants me to configure it. I have the option to customize it if that means anything. Also how can I fix xex menu? Can I delete the previous one and ftp a new one?

Your console wants to configure the drive because it reads it as an internal hard drive.

Customising it lets you assign some space for XBOX 360 storage (used for game saves, profiles, DLC, etc.).

If FSD boots fine on your console, you don't need XeXMenu.
