I had a Falcon sitting here doing nothing and I've not gotten round to even trying the reset glitch yet.

I managed to scrounge some components from elsewhere and got it working first time :). I had ordered in some components but forgot about 22k resistors and the 100n (0.1uF) Cap, but luckily an old PSU came to the rescue.

I used the 'red' coolrunner II boards from eBay and just needed to move move the R2 bridge to R3.

I built the programmer from a scrap piece of stripboard I had laying around and using the USB of my PC to power it (going through 300kohm to drop it down to 3.25v - didn't really want to be connecting any other external supplys).

See attached pic - it ended up quite neat :)

That's a centronics port and probably no good for what you want it for. Do a search on Ebay for USB to LPT adaptor. Something like item 280712362279 will do the job.

My computer doesnt have an lpt port either. I will definitely be trying an lpt to usb adapter. When I get the parts, ill post back with the functionality.

So were you able to get the glitch working and what are your thoughts about it? I have yet to even mess with it, should TX not get the CR out soon I will pick up a matrix just to get up to date on how the RG works.

Probably pick up the HS-1 JTAG Cable too, I have spoken to two major retailers and they have no info regarding a TX JTAG Cable.
