Hello, I recentely found out I need to do a system update on my xbox before I can play any newer backups.. while going through this process I found out that apparently I have a Jtagged console..

Suprised me but I know nothing about Jtagging and I'm currently in a grind because I have no idea how to find my Original Nand so I can update my dashboard to allow me to play newer backups..

My question is, how do I find/get my original Nand?

What is the Dashboard version under the System Info of your Xbox360 currently?

And by the way, what made you think that you have a Jtagged console?

Hey, dashboard shows as 2.0.8955

Well I always got that blue screen when starting console by opening tray then asked a friend about it, he looked at it more and told me it was a jtag for sure.. it's weird cause the original owner didn't even mension it.

Weird indeed. Well there's a lot for you to learn before you try and do something with the Jtag as one wrong move can make a Jtag stop working. I suggest you have a look at the Jtagging tutorials so that you may get an idea of how a Jtag works. Then you can go to the more advanced bit of getting to update your Jtag etc.

Ok thanks,

One more question, is it possible to just kill the Jtag so I don't have to deal with it? I honestly have no use for Jtag all my games are just played as backups on CD.

if you don't want it I'd gladly trade you my nonjtag for your jtag! :D

I'd flash the drive and update it to the newest dashboard (before the recent update that is)
