fsd oesn't boot automatically when it glitches it goes to dash launch or whatever the default rgh boot dash is!! Like I said I used the same settings in jrunner on my v5 and it boots to fsd when USB is plugged in, not this one!!

do you have the FSD on your Internal HDD or on USB Drive? also check the launch.ini file you have to edit it with the right direction

[from the looks of your dip switches you need to set them]

pic from just after install not dips were set yet!

i double check same as v5??

[If it's booting to freeboot ok, it's not an RGH issue.]

i thought since I used identical jrunner config, maybe a issue with on how it wrote to nand, since it works fine on v5

Easy fix. download Dashlaunch 3.11, burn to a cdr and boot it up on the xbox from the cd. Then you can manually set the default dash path. just make sure your hdd is plugged in. Also, if your using an externally powered hdd, you may need to adjust more settings to delay the xbox so the hdd gets a chance to spin up.

Why would you go to all the bother of burning a CD when all that's required is putting default.xex from Dashlaunch onto the root of a FAT32 USB stick?

Me personally is because manu customers have different requests on what there booting it from. Also if OP cant get it going at least the disc is easier and is good to restore sh*t if he accidently delted the ini file or the likes.

Each to their own. I'd rely on data read/write from a solid state device over optical any day of the week.
