So I'm trying to upgrade to the newest ixtreme firmware from my old one. The problem is I can't get past firmguard, dos never detects the drive no matter what I do.
I've used the 0800 disc to no results and I don't have a via sata card. I tried burning the 0800 disc using imgburn onto a DL but is there anything special I need to be doing or burn it in a different way? Also, when I run Iprep at the custom serial ata part, it gives me a choice between a parallel ata controller and a adma controller, does my choice matter?
If someone could help me with my problems that would be great.
