I know the "Sync Button NAND Select" is a completely optional wire. I like it and I use it, but is there (or could there be) any way to adjust the long-press time?

I find the timing a bit short, and when I go to sync the other controller (if I forget not to do it quickly), I shift nands while booted and that can't be good.

Setting the long press at 3 sec (if at all possible,) might prevent that.

I'm still wondering the headache of checking RROD secondary codes.
I think I might just remove that wire all together. On a phat, the toggle button is right there. not sure how out of the way it is on the slims.

Personally the wire on the back is plenty convenient for me so I just don't use the sync for that exact reason as well as in the event of 2ndary codes.

I guess I should have specified SLIM Demon Installs. My unit sits with its back in a recessed (but ventilated space) to use the Addon-Toggle, I generally use the SYNC button switch (for ease of access) but if I don't remember the SYNC button does two things and keep the button pressed for less than a second I'm rebooting my console.

I never thought about the difference in position on a PHAT...
