Okay so I've successfully done my first RGH but I don't know how to install FSD?

I found a site and have download the installer package and tried both ways. When I boot the console up it show the original Dashboard. Any help is appreciated.

I downloaded the FSD here: http://www.teamfsd.com/forums/newspage.php?news=810&sid=01a158110a71d5f135bdc645c68a5d07

This is the log of my J-Runner:

Image is Ready
INFO: You can write the resulting image to the nand using this app's Write Nand button
However if you wish, you may copy the "Nandflash.bin" and "Xenon.elf" to a USB stick.
Place that in console and boot the console using the eject button.
(this will use rawflash and overcome any bad blocks you may have on your nand)

just download FSD2.2 and unpack it then rename folder to FSD and then copy folder over to an usb drive or usb stick.. thats all. :) there is no need to burn it on a cd lol

You have to setup DashLaunch + the .ini so that your console automatically boots into FSD. Use the installer you had ran first that installs it for you. There should be an option that says Install & Configure DashLaunch. You need to have this option checked including the install Freestyle Dash option before continuing. This will create the .ini and place it in the right location and also install DashLaunch for you.

what's your boot time for your rgh just out of interest?
you ran the jrunners resulting nand image and your on 14719 dash on nxe i take it (this would have done your dash launch all in one)?
many ways to get fsd on to the hdd1 root. you could boot xex menu and ftp fsd over to the root also. make sure the launch.ini points to where ever you got your fsd. fsd is currently on version 725.

Got everything to work now. Sorry for asking too many question but I am really new to this. Thank to all that have helped me along the way.

@nosherfj - consistently 2-5 second on all 2 Slim consoles. I only install the CR and did not use the QSB.

Again thanks to all the great people helping along the way.
