After practicing for a few days on a dead xbox1 mobo, I was able to glitch my slim successfully first try without any problems!

I didn't do a great job with QSBs as they were unfamiliar and I had no practice with them. Maybe I'll fix them up some time.

So then I had a go at reading my jasper to see if it's CB is exploitable, this time I did a much better job on the QSBs. It's exploitable so I'm going to get another CoolRunner! Great product :)

Excellent, hopefully uk will have stock of the cables and qsb soon so i can test my soldering skills, plenty of practice been put in. Well done, im glad to hear a soldering newb like me has had success :)

Good work :) you find it enjoyable?
Yeah, it was a fun learning experience. Can't wait to try phat, it looks a little harder than slim.

Oh and I used a cheap 15-30w iron (15w setting broken) with 60/40 rosin core and rosin flux. Thinking of getting a $40 weller station.

Cool, i wouldn't go to overboard on the soldering iron. Ultimately at the end of the day all it does is get hot lol. I spent £15 on a variable temp solder station (150c-400/450c) @ Maplin. Mint :)

nice work buddy i would get some isopropyl if i was you and always give a little clean like the one qsb that has some flux on top as it is a better job:wink: but on the other hand top marks a soldering noob that used flux you put the the others to shame good man ;)
