[FIXED] X3 Bios flash and then it boots to bios screen

Hello, after 2 days of reading and redoing soldering joints, I have concerns.
XBOX version 1.5
USA
Tried flashing 1957 and the one posted today by xecuter

I installed the X3 yesterday and got to the flashbios screen and thought everything was fine. Went to get x3 bios, downloaded, burned to dvd and after flashing, I got frags. I rechecked the solder joints which look perfect. All pins, same height, good solder cones, no spatter and no ruined traces.

What is happening now is I flashed with the file from xecuter, which is flashbios 3.0.1. I can boot into all 3 senarios fine, quick click, hold for msdashboard, and backup. Is this just an update to the flashbios and do I need to try the 1957 again? Everything I do now takes me to the falshbios screen.

I am going to download the 1957 again and try to see if it will work this time in case the las one got corrupted but any insight would be greatly appreciated.

im not sure what you are saying ?

you are flashing with FlashBIOS v3.01 as the bios and it keeps taking you back to the FlashBIOS screen ?

well of course it does as you are flashing the flashbios over and over

you need 1957_REPACK

Thanks for the reply xecuter. I apologize for being unclear. I did flash with 3.0.1 and I put on 1957 repack and it came up fine then, no frags finally. Thanks to all your posts and the others which helped me along this journey.
