I had the xbox flashed and worked fine. My idiot brother updated the xbox and now backup games says play dvd. How do i fix this?

anyway try using the search button or reading some threads...
you would find that by reading the update from 12xxx to 13xxx flashed your console back to stock and it would need to be reflashed

Your xbox is completely stock now because of the update. You will have to have your console reflashed. Also it is not a liteon 7000 anymore. It has been flashed to a 0251c by m$. If you want to flash yourself you will need a ck3, probe 3 if you don't have your key, and compatible chipset or usbpro.

dose your drive play retail then u already stock so just flash with 1.91 then you good to go.:rolleyes2:

so my drive is now 0251c

ok so just flash your drive with LTPlus-025v1.91
0251c is your drive stock fw now since the last dash update.:facepalm:

I had the same issue however i flashed drive and now originals or backups do not play i get the xbox logo screen... DVD movies play perfect Grrr any HELP ????

It sounds like you didn't spoof your key into the firmware. Load your dummy.bin as the source, load LTPlus-025v1.91.bin as the target, check that the drive keys match, erase, write, outro, test

Do you have the dummy.bin you dumped before messing with the drive? Your drive key is stored in that file.
Nope I used the lt firmware as the source so I got a key with 5A as the only characters. Can I recover original key using probe v3 ? Or any other options ??

If you ran the erase command, your drive will be blank hence no drive key. However you are not fully out of luck, have a read on the forums about the reset glitch as this will enable you to retrieve your lost DVD key. I won't say any more in this thread so it's up to you to do some research .
