LITEON 74850 Flagged

I dont understand how the flagging system works,
basically what i want to do is take my liteon 74850c drive out of the flagged xbox and use it to back up XGD3 games using Xbox Backup Creator, as i have got a new xbox now,

so the question is, can i unflag it to backup xgd3 games?

i have tried reflashing it with lt+ 2.0, but no joy, i cant seem to find help anywhere

It's the console that gets flagged not your DVD drive......

Drives aren't flagged, consoles are.

You need to flash the drive with 0800 v3 firmware to rip your own games.

you need to flash the 0800 firmware to read originals with it not lt2.0.

so the drive is fine, as long as i put 0800 v3 firmware on it, got it

but how cant i play my back up MW3, it comes up play game but then says error etc

you must have taken the silent update and now its the console stopping the drive reading it not the drive stopping the console reading it. the drive is fine.

i did yeah, i have tried different things like the title update and replaced the newer title update with an older one which i cant seem to do lol:facepalm:
