So I've got this liteon phat dvd player flashed with lt+ (not 1.1) and when I try to probe the dummy.bin from the player, to flash the player back to stock, I get this message saying "dummy.bin is missing some drive specific information..."
When I flashed it to lt+ I did that at a local store and he didn't give me the dummy file (the store has now closed so there is no way of getting the dummy from there either :().
So my question is: Is there any way to flash back to stock without a dummy.bin?
My tools are:
X360Usb pro
CK3 Probe 2
Ck3 Lite
And my dashboard is the one that came before the one that flashed to stock.

Hope you guys can help me:smile:

So now I've tried the guide from step 1-5. I am able to save the dummy file, but when I load it as source, jungleflasher tells me that "Dummy.bin is missing some drive specific information.

If this is an old dummy.bin that predates ix1.5 then if possible you should re-extract your drive info again with the latest tools...

...do you wish to proceed any way?"
Should I just press yes, or am I doing something wrong? :S

Thanx for the help so far btw :)

Why not just put one of the new games with the update on them and it flashes back to stock anyway? I've read that this might not be xbl safe, but I've had no problems and have done 3 that way.

The missing information (Laser calibration serial numbers) is not required any more so you are safe to continue :cool2:

By the sounds of it you are on a 'Pre 13146 dash so make sure you use the 'Pre 13146' dash OFW from the latest LT FW pack that relates to your drive

After the update your drive will be flashed and the OFW version will be a Liteon DG-16D2S 02510C

TX always advise you to return ALL drives back to stock prior to ANY dashboard update

I'm not a MOD/Admin but please do some more reading before giving potentially harmful info out to TX members :(

Not trying to give bad advice, i explained that its not recommended to do it that way if you use xbl. Its an option I was giving because I realize not everyone uses xbl. Simple enough.
