Flash bios 3.0.1

Hi all,

Ive just managed to get my chip installed but sadly i think i made a mistake when flashing

my xbox is 1.6 with standard hd etc

x3 chip with pro switch

At present i Have the x sign on the front as a pink colour
the protect light shows green
banks 1 and 2 are out
banks 3 and 4 are blue

what settings should I have for flashing the bios

COOOOOOOL that did the trick - ( Iwas using the wrong banks and the v1.0- v1.5 bios)

Just one more thing Im used to having evox as the dashboard can I run that also? If so Is it just a normal install? or do i need to install some fancy dashboard manager?

No, just ftp the evox files to your hdd and setup x3cl to boot to it.
You can put it on any drive that you like and set x3cl to boot to that
drive first, and then set the dashboard priority to your evox xbe file.
Then disable the boot to x3cl option and your xbox will boot to evox on
startup.

And to get back to the x3cl screen hold down the white button on startup.

Truly helpful - got the whole thing going know - what a piece of kit....

and finally . . . .

with my other xbox i can play online with the chip disabled does the x3 work the same way?

Yes

But if you already signed up on xbl and upgraded the hdd after, then there is a good chance that you will be banned. I don't know for sure, since I don't play on xbl.

Maybe someone else can be of more help in this matter.
